Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery / Birthing Center setting with patient ratios of 4–6:1
Perform and interpret fetal monitoring including non-stress tests (NSTs)
Care for high-risk obstetric patients including those with PPROM, preeclampsia, placenta previa, and preterm labor
Support post-operative gynecological and urogynecological surgery patients, as well as GYN oncology post-op cases
Utilize unit equipment including Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring devices
Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Postpartum experience
Current BLS certification
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Minimum of 2 years of overall nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior OB or Labor & Delivery experience beyond postpartum
Medical-surgical nursing experience
Gynecology (GYN) nursing experience
