Job Details:
**Required Experience and Skills:** - 1 year of experience required - L&D and Mother Baby experience required - Must be comfortable with the prison population - Skills: Circulate for C-section, Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Mother/Baby, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring) **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or MAB accepted in lieu of CPI - NIH (National Institutes of Health) - AWHONN Intermediate (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - STABLE **Licensure and Submittal Details:** - Valid TN state license or compact multi-state license required at time of submission - Current Nursys report required; license must be active - No pending licenses accepted **Additional Information:** - Orientation shifts are split into two 8-hour shifts, followed by orientation with the department two 12-hour shifts - Self-scheduling with a patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends - COVID-19 Vaccine: Required, with Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Flu Vaccine: Required, with Medical Exemptions Only
