Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring TN or compact RN licensure and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Hospital-based 14-bed L&D unit
• Patient population consists of expecting persons
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Weekend shifts required
• Unit creates the staff schedule
• Floating required to Helping Hands, NICU, and Postpartum
• Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems
• Surgical scrubs provided

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required on file at time of submission
• Current BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must be able to circulate

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a fast-paced L&D environment
• Orientation limited to specific dates: 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26
• No time off approved between 9/19 and 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live event
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate outside the 75-mile radius
• Candidates residing within 74.9 miles are eligible for the local rate
