Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring NRP and BLS certification along with at least 1 year of recent L&D experience.

Details

• Work in a 2nd floor Labor & Delivery/LDRP unit with 10 LDR rooms, 3 triage rooms, and 2 OR suites
• Unit staffed by approximately 30 RNs with dedicated charge, LDR, and nursery roles on each shift
• Patient ratio of 2 laboring patients to 1 RN
• Uses GE fetal monitoring, Novii wireless monitoring, Spectrum IV pumps, and CADD epidural PCA equipment
• Meditech EMR used on the unit
• Performs typical procedures including inductions and C-section/SVD deliveries
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Current NRP (Advanced 9th Edition) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• One professional reference required
