Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position on night shift, requiring a TX or compact RN license and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.

Details

  • Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
  • BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
  • Intermediate or advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required (or NCCEFM)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required, must be Advanced 9th Edition
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
  • No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Provide labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care within a Women's Services unit
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
  • No local candidates will be considered
