Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 1+ years of L&D experience and comfort circulating C-sections.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit setting
• 3x12hr night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: seven weekend shifts (Friday/Saturday nights) in an eight-week period
• On-call requirement: 3 12hr call shifts in an eight-week period
• Floating to Postpartum required based on business need
• Uses Epic for charting
• Must circulate own C-sections

Requirements

• Active RN license, Single State or Compact (CO or compact license required)
• 1+ years of L&D nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or C-EFM certifications (AHA certifications required, must not expire prior to start)
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Comfortable circulating C-sections
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, including health teaching and counseling
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• May float to other departments within scope of competency based on business need
• Returning permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screen results required with firm timelines; candidates should report to the lab within 24 hours of commitment
