Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a CO or compact license, EPIC experience, and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire before start date
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery required
• EPIC charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
