**Exciting Opportunity for Labor and Delivery RN!** **Job Description** - **Start Date:** 7/27 - **Duration:** 8 weeks - **Location:** Dickson, TN - **Unit Name:** Women’s Services - **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - **Bed Capacity:** - LDRP: 9 beds - OBED: 1 bed - NICU: 4 beds - OR Suite: 1 - **Patient Ratios:** - 1:1 for active labors, inductions, and C-sections - 1:3 for couplet care - 1:1 for newborns until stable - 1:3 for NICU intermediate care (2 NICU nurses must be available if needed) - **Staffing Description:** - No techs or unit secretaries available - **Equipment Used:** - CPN Central monitoring - IV pumps - Infant warmers - Tele-med robot for neonatologist - Bili-blankets - PCA pumps - **Documentation System:** - Meditech and CPN - **Scheduling Requirements:** - Full-time: 3 shifts per week - Rotating weekends and holidays - PRN staffing to fill gaps - **Floating Policy:** - Staff may float anywhere within the facility as needed; some are cross-trained between LDRP & NICU - **Patient Experience Expectations:** - Daily rounding on all patients - Safety rounding - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - NRP - Fetal Monitoring training - **Dress Code:** - Pink and/or brown scrubs as per infant security policy - **Unit Highlights:** - Six seasoned RNs with approximately 30 years of experience each available as resources - Supportive team atmosphere with experienced staff eager to help - Exceptional opportunity to gain experience in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonate care **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
