Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/12/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating the care needed by assigned patients under the guidance of a licensed physician. The RN utilizes a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles, theories, and current practices to deliver high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Assess patients’ health conditions and determine necessary nursing interventions. Implement appropriate care plans based on patient needs and medical advice. Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary. Collaborate with patients, their families, professional peers, and other healthcare team members to ensure personalized care. Direct and supervise nursing support staff in accordance with nursing standards and departmental policies. Maintain knowledge of current nursing practices and advancements in the field. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty is preferred. Licenses: Must possess a valid PA Registered Nurse License. Certifications: Basic Life Support certification is required; Multi-State Compact RN License is also required.
