Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for night shifts. The position requires a strong background in labor and delivery, with a preference for postpartum experience and the ability to work in a Level 2 nursery.

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts
• Shifts start at 6:15 PM and end at 5:45 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing top-quality patient care in a challenging and rewarding environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in labor and delivery processes
• Providing care for postpartum patients
• Working in a Level 2 nursery as needed
• Monitoring fetal health using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques
• Performing emergency response and patient stabilization as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Acute care facility experience – Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification – Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – Required
• Experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Required

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided if needed. If not, eggplant colored scrubs should be worn as part of the uniform.
