Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive maternal and newborn nursing care
- Perform postpartum assessments for mothers and infants
- Support labor & delivery care as needed
- Educate patients and families on newborn care and recovery
- Monitor and evaluate treatment plans and patient progress
- Administer medications and therapies per provider orders
- Document all care in accordance with hospital standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
- Float to other units if required (within scope)
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed
✅ Requirements
- ✔️ Active Montana RN License (or compact eligibility)
- ✔️ Minimum 1+ year RN experience (L&D / Mom Baby preferred)
- ✔️ASN required, BSN preferred
- ✔️ Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- NRP (Required for newborn care)
- PALS (preferred/if applicable)
- ✔️ Strong patient education and family-centered care skills
