Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Description & Requirements

Contract / Schedule

• Nights | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | 12-hour shifts
• Weekends scheduled based on unit needs
• Call not required, but available

Unit

• 7-bed LDRP
• 3rd Floor, Main Building
• Staffing: 2 RNs + 1 OB Surgical Tech
• Ratios follow AWHONN acuity staffing guidelines
• Epic
• GE / Centricity Perinatal
• Level II NICU – 32+ weeks / 1,500g+
• Royal blue scrubs provided

Requirements

• 1+ year L&D experience
• Labor triage experience
• OR circulating experience required – C-sections, tubal ligations, D&C, vaginal repairs, etc.
• Newborn resuscitation / attending low-risk deliveries
• BLS, ACLS, NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required

Typical Procedures / Experience

• Labor induction & vaginal deliveries
• C-sections
• Labor triage & antepartum care
• Tubal ligations
• D&C and vaginal repairs
• NST
• IUFD
• Betamethasone/steroid injections
• External cephalic version
• IUPC/FSE placement preferred
• Experience assisting with JADA, Cook and Bakri placement preferred

Floating

• During low census, may float to work as a PCT as needed.
