**Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Team!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Overview:** - Experience the excitement of a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit! - 11 Labor Beds, 4 OB Evaluation beds, 2 OB PACU beds, and 2 Operating Rooms. - **Staffing Excellence:** - Join a dedicated team of 79 professionals. - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 10 Staff RNs, 2 OB Techs. - Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 10 Staff RNs, 2 OB Techs. - **Patient Care:** - Work in a dynamic environment with patient ratios of 1 RN/2 Patients and 1 RN/1 Patient. - Engage in couplet care if floated to postpartum. - **Cutting-Edge Technology:** - Utilize GE fetal monitoring systems and EMR (CPN, Meditech). - **Required Skills:** - AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification is a must! - Experience managing labor, titrating medications, performing cervical exams, and conducting NSTs. - **Additional Preferences:** - 2+ years in Labor and Delivery preferred. - Experience as a Transition Nurse or Baby Catcher is a plus. - **Ideal Candidate Traits:** - Thrive in organized chaos with a love for patient engagement. - Ready to handle a variety of cases and experience the joy of bringing life into the world. - **Certifications Required:** - BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM (must be included in your submission packet). - **Floating Areas:** - Flexibility to float to Postpartum-Couplets as needed. - **Dress Code:** - Hospital infant security scrubs are the attire of choice. - **On-Call Requirements:** - Weekend shifts may be necessary to meet unit needs; no scheduled on-call. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
