• Patient Experience Requirements: Maintain above 75% satisfaction

Qualifications

• Required Skill Set:
  • Commitment to providing the highest quality care to laboring patients.
  • Ability to support patient choices and promote vaginal birth opportunities.
• Advanced Skills: Familiarity with spinning babies and STABLE principles is beneficial.
• Procedures Performed: Circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, pp hemorrhage management using the JADA system, and nitrous oxide utilization.
• Certifications Required: RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring.

Dress Code

Hot pink and black attire is required. Preferably hot pink on top and black on the bottom.

Additional Information

Our department operates with a laborist team model, ensuring 24/7 availability of midwives, dedicated CRNA, and OB on call. We focus on personalizing each birth experience based on patients' preferences and needs. The postpartum unit practices couplet care, allowing newborns to stay at the bedside to promote breastfeeding, with donor milk available as needed. The unit also features an 8-bed Level 2 NICU with a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner available around the clock to attend high-risk deliveries.
