Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring prior travel experience and 5+ years of L&D nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a community hospital setting
• Care for patients across Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby settings
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (State or Compact) required in-hand prior to start, pending license accepted for submission
• Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, BLS, and NRP; RNC-OB preferred
• Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
• Strong charting proficiency, time management, and teamwork skills required
• Good communication skills with providers required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby patient populations
• Completion of facility training modules required prior to start and annually for clearance
• RTO must be indicated at the time of submission
• Availability for holiday coverage must be indicated at the time of submission
