This position offers a 12-hour day shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an RN in Labor and Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in supporting mothers during childbirth and ensuring the safety and well-being of both the mother and infant. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess the health and status of mothers during labor and delivery.
Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding the childbirth process.
Administer medications and manage pain relief measures as needed.
Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RN license.
Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Additional certifications specific to Labor and Delivery may be required.
