Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a fast-paced Labor & Delivery position at a high-volume Level IV Maternal Designation facility requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D/Perinatal experience and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit at a Level IV Maternal Designation academic teaching facility
• Unit includes 26 LDR suites (with low intervention rooms), 6 C-section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 16 monitored antepartum rooms
• High-risk, high-volume delivery service performing 500+ deliveries per month
• 24-hour in-house attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage on site
• Facility supports a Perinatal Transport Program and large private OB practices
• Day shift: 06:45–19:15
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license valid in TX required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA or Red Cross), ACLS (AHA or Red Cross), NRP (AAP)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Preferred: 3–5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service
• Preferred certifications: S.T.A.B.L.E Program, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Preferred education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
