Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor and Delivery RN with a VA or compact license and current EPIC charting experience for a hospital assignment.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• Floating may be requested based on facility needs

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP through the American Heart Association (AHA); AWHONN Intermediate preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• NIH and stroke education required
• Specialty experience within the last year required

Additional Information

• Candidates cannot work both travel and per diem assignments at this facility simultaneously and must choose one
• Locals accepted at the same base rate
• Prior permanent employees must have a gap of at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO requests should be minimal, ideally none, and no more than 7 days total during the assignment; must be submitted upfront as approvals after offer are not permitted
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
