Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and a compact or state-specific RN license.

Details

  • 12-bed LDR high-risk delivery unit with 2 dedicated ORs
  • Approximately 150 deliveries per month with a Level III NICU on site
  • Night shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
  • Every other weekend required as needed
  • Holiday coverage required per unit need

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
  • 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA)
  • NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) preferred
  • Scrub experience a plus
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care in a high-risk labor and delivery setting with surgical capability
  • Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate for local candidates
  • Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with unit management approximately 45 days before assignment end date
