American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Pocatello, Idaho.

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (05:00 - 17:00), 13-week assignment

Highlights:

  • Labor and Delivery unit with 200-300 births per month
  • High-risk antepartum experience with teaching hospital environment
  • Comprehensive obstetrical care including triage, high-risk deliveries, and C-section support
  • First-time travelers welcome with 36-hour orientation provided
  • Opportunity to work with advanced procedures including IUPC placement, central line maintenance, and specialized medication therapies

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Idaho or Compact state license required at time of application)
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM
  • Experience with electronic charting systems required
  • Proficiency in high-risk obstetrical care, including magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, anticoagulation therapy, and antihypertensives
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
