Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Medford, OR 97504

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Medford, Oregon

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required. On-call for low census only. Assignment duration is 13 weeks.

Highlights:

• 8-bed LDRP unit providing full spectrum Level I maternity and newborn care for patients 36 weeks gestation and above
• Comprehensive care including triage, antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum, nursery, and post-surgical GYN patients
• 108-bed short-term acute care facility with Epic charting system
• Two dedicated operating rooms for cesarean sections with surgical tech support
• Interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• First-time travelers welcome with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience; at least 1 year required
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required
• AWHONN Advanced and STABLE certifications preferred
• Required skills: Cesarean section, circulating for C-section, LDRP, sterile vaginal exam, triage of obstetrical patients, external and internal fetal monitoring, vaginal delivery
• Preferred skills: Level I Nursery, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, spiral electrode placement
• Experience with AWHONN patient ratios
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
