Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 20, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-Hour (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM). Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage required (6 weekends per contract). Orientation: 24-36 hours.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a Labor and Delivery/LDRP unit with 14-bed capacity and 100-200 facility births per month
• Work with diverse patient populations including antepartum, labor and delivery, mother/baby, and couplet care
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system with modern labor and delivery protocols
• Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Texas or Compact state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN (Intermediate level required)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
