Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Everett, WA 98201

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Everett, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 91-day assignment. Weekend coverage required. Float to Postpartum as needed. No call required. Guaranteed hours with potential for one 12-hour call-off per two-week period.

Highlights:

• High-risk perinatal care in a Level III facility with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and 7-bay triage
• Comprehensive women's and children's pavilion with Level II NICU and 200+ deliveries monthly
• Excellent staffing ratios: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, 1:2-3 in antepartum
• Robust interdisciplinary support including 3-4 delivering providers 24/7, 2 CRNAs 24/7, surgical techs, CNAs, and health unit coordinators
• Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds and Epic charting system
• 40 hours of paid orientation and facility-paid parking

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience in facilities handling 100+ deliveries monthly preferred; 200+ deliveries ideal
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring (all certifications are hard-stop requirements)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must have sterile vaginal exam (SVE) experience – hard-stop requirement
• Proficiency in high-risk antepartum care, cesarean sections, neonatal resuscitation, fetal monitoring, postpartum hemorrhage management, and couplet care
• Clean background check required; candidates with background or Nursys hits will not be accepted
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
