Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position involves assessing and prioritizing patient conditions, formulating nursing diagnoses, developing individualized plans of care, and overseeing patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' clinical conditions, quickly recognizing and addressing critical situations.
• Formulate nursing diagnoses to deliver appropriate care across various patient age groups and conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient interviews and health record reviews.
• Take immediate action in emergency situations, including resuscitative measures when necessary.
• Operate and monitor various emergency care equipment, including infusion pumps and ventilators.
• Administer prescribed therapeutic measures, including medication and IV therapy.
• Educate patients and families on preventative, curative, and rehabilitative measures while considering their unique needs and learning styles.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner.
• Evaluate progress toward expected outcomes, updating care plans as necessary.
• Provide direction and oversight for care administered by licensed practical nurses and unlicensed personnel.
• Maintain a well-equipped and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Promote professional growth and competency through ongoing education and positive role modeling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN License.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Successfully complete pre-employment credentialing clearances.
