Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a compact license, 2+ years of L&D experience, and the ability to scrub C-sections.

Details

  • Work in the Labor and Delivery unit, providing labor, delivery, recovery, and mother-baby (LDRP) care
  • Facility averages 100-200 births per month
  • Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-7:30
  • Patient ratio of 1:2
  • Floating required to other units and facilities within a 75-mile radius as needed
  • Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

  • Active OK or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Ability to scrub for C-sections required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
  • AWHONN Advanced and NRP preferred
  • Basic Dysrhythmia competency required during compliance period
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Current driver's license or state-issued ID required for consideration
  • Utility bill with matching address required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn stages
  • Manage high-risk obstetric conditions including pre-eclampsia, placenta previa, HELLP syndrome, and preterm labor
  • Perform fetal monitoring and recognize abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
  • Administer medications including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and antihypertensives
  • Support newborn care including assessments, phototherapy, and discharge teaching
  • Assist with surgical procedures such as cervical cerclage, D&C, and tubal ligation
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
  • Maximum RTO of 5 days per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO accepted
  • Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be outside a 75-mile radius from the facility
  • Former INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum 1-year separation to be eligible for this assignment
  • Two supervisory references required for consideration
