Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring 3 years of experience and an active LA or compact RN license.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Manages patients in labor, attends deliveries, and circulates for C-sections
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• Every other weekend required
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner/Intermediate
• Epic EMR experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing laboring patients, attending deliveries, and circulating for C-sections
• Scrubs are provided
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate
• Any candidate who was previously a permanent employee within the health system must have a 1-year separation before being eligible to travel
