Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with OB Triage experience and prior travel nursing experience for a night shift assignment requiring an active fetal monitoring certification.

Details

  • Labor & Delivery Unit providing comprehensive obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
  • Department includes 14 Labor & Delivery rooms, an OB Triage Unit, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
  • Recently expanded unit with five new Labor & Delivery rooms featuring modern equipment and technology
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
  • Rotating holidays and weekends required
  • Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

  • Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience
  • OB Triage experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted (C-EFM required if contract extends to 1 year or more from initial start date)

Additional Information

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care in a family-centered birthing environment
  • Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
  • Located in Frederick, Maryland, close to Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
