- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,220

- Unit Setting: Labor & Delivery with triage, postpartum float opportunities, and skill-based NICU support
- Experience Required: 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with compact license in hand at submission
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
- Certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- ACLS preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity obstetric environment and support a variety of patient needs
- Must be flexible to float based on skill set and unit need
- Must be willing to commit to 3 of the 5 major holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care for labor, preterm labor, antepartum, and postpartum patients
- Attend low-risk and high-risk deliveries with confidence, professionalism, and excellent clinical judgment
- Circulate for C-sections and support OB-GYN, pre-op, post-op, and scrub duties as needed
- Monitor and manage obstetric patients using strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Administer and titrate medications and therapies such as heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
- Perform interventions including blood and blood product administration, epidural support, PCA pump support, and wound vac care
- Support triage, couplet care, and transition nursery workflows as needed
- Collaborate with the care team to maintain safe staffing ratios and excellent patient outcomes
- Float to postpartum or NICU settings based on experience and unit needs
