• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110 - $2,220
• Weekend Coverage: Required as needed
• Floating: May float to postpartum, antepartum, and other nearby women’s health units based on staffing needs
• Charting System: Epic experience required

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• High-risk Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment required
• Current BLS and NRP required
• ACLS and AWHONN certifications preferred
• Epic EHR experience required
• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring required
• Ability to circulate and provide newborn care required
• Must be comfortable caring for patients through labor, recovery, and postpartum transitions
• Compact or valid state RN license must be in hand at time of submission, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns
• Circulate during cesarean sections and support safe, efficient OR workflow
• Serve as Baby Nurse during delivery and continue newborn care until transfer to postpartum
• Perform newborn assessments, thermoregulation support, and routine newborn interventions
• Monitor fetal status and recognize changes in fetal heart rate patterns
• Administer and support medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin, and Heparin as ordered
• Support high-risk deliveries, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum recovery
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care
• Float as needed to postpartum or antepartum units while maintaining excellent clinical standards
• Provide calm, compassionate support to patients and families during one of life’s most meaningful moments
