Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Location: Frederick, Maryland
• Assignment Length: 18 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Start Date: September 2, 2026

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience
• OB Triage experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification required
• C-EFM preferred; AWHONN Intermediate accepted with C-EFM completion required if the assignment extends beyond 1 year from the initial start date
• Experience with Meditech charting preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity OB environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients in Labor & Delivery, OB Triage, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Circulate for C-sections and support obstetric procedures as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
• Support patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Contribute to a welcoming, family-centered environment for parents and newborns
