Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or a Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience
• OB triage experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current fetal monitoring certification required; C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certification required
• Experience circulating for C-sections preferred
• Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and select holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
• Support comprehensive obstetric services across Labor & Delivery, OB triage, OB OR, and OB PACU
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changing clinical needs
• Assist with C-sections and other obstetric procedures as needed
• Deliver compassionate, family-centered care in a modern, newly expanded maternity unit
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain punctual attendance and comply with all assignment and unit expectations
