Overview

This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the chance to work in a modern Labor & Delivery unit with state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative OB care team. You will care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum in a well-equipped setting focused on safe, comfortable, patient-centered care.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience
• OB triage experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Current fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced/Intermediate as applicable
• Experience circulating for C-sections preferred
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-focused maternity care environment
• Must be prepared for compliance requirements, including pre-start modules and documentation review

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients and postpartum mothers
• Monitor fetal and maternal status throughout labor and delivery
• Support OB triage assessments and coordinate patient flow efficiently
• Assist with C-sections and collaborate with the perioperative team as needed
• Deliver patient education and emotional support to families during the birth experience
• Work collaboratively with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
• Adapt to a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays
