Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required before start
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Travel nurse experience is welcome; first-time travelers are accepted
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Must be comfortable floating within the hospital as needed
• Two professional references required at time of submission
• Must live outside the local radius requirement

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Assist with labor support, deliveries, and immediate newborn care
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to promote excellent outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the charting system
• Support unit needs by floating within scope when assigned
• Maintain a calm, professional presence during high-acuity or fast-paced situations
