Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Labor & Delivery and postpartum experience who is confident in a high-acuity women’s health setting. This 13-week travel nursing assignment is ideal for an RN who enjoys night shifts, values teamwork, and is ready to make a meaningful impact supporting families through labor, delivery, and recovery.

• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Sidney, Ohio
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 options; rotating weekends and holidays
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Openings: 2 positions
• Schedule Notes: Local candidates welcome; first-time travelers welcome

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and postpartum care for mom and baby
• Circulator experience required
• NRP, BLS, and EFM required
• ACLS and STABLE preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays
• Meets traveler compliance requirements and can submit requested time off at the time of application

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum mothers
• Support delivery-room procedures and assist as a circulating nurse when needed
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Deliver care to both mom and baby throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Collaborate closely with the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high clinical standards in a fast-paced unit
• Adapt to varying contract lengths and unit needs as assigned
