Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum night shift position requiring an active MA RN license and AWHONN fetal heart monitoring certification.

Details

• Hospital-based OB/GYN unit providing family-centered care
• Cares for antepartum, laboring, postpartum, and gynecological patients, including vaginal and Cesarean-section births and their newborns
• Open to candidates with either Labor & Delivery or Postpartum nursing experience
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• May consider 48 hours per week
• Uses Epic for EMR charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (conditional or pending licenses not accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• NRP certification required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required (AWHONN or NCC accepted, 2-year renewal)
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
