Job Details

• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Location: Loveland, Colorado
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts; 36 hours per week
• Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Call Requirement: 1 shift every 6 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, based on unit needs
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Charting System: Epic preferred
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,180 - $2,290

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, and STABLE certification required
• Strong experience caring for antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum patients
• Ability to work night shifts and support rotating weekend coverage
• Comfortable floating to like women’s and infant care units within scope
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and deliver patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Monitor fetal heart patterns, assess labor progression, and support safe delivery outcomes
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergency obstetric interventions
• Support high-risk pregnancies, postpartum recovery, and newborn transition care
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered, including labor-related protocols
• Perform assessments, patient education, and discharge teaching for mothers and families
• Respond to changes in patient condition and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Float to similar women’s and infant care areas when needed to support patient care needs
