Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Schedule posted every 6 weeks to meet unit needs. 36-40 hours of orientation provided.

• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations in a fast-paced teaching environment following AWHONN staffing guidelines
• 6-month travel assignment with potential for extension

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
• High-risk obstetric experience required; ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Epic charting system experience required (hard stop); electronic fetal monitoring experience mandatory
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
• Must be able to function as Baby Nurse during delivery and provide newborn care until transfer to postpartum (hard stop requirement)
• Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections (hard stop requirement)
• Competency in newborn assessments, Vitamin K and eye prophylaxis administration, and care of high-risk deliveries
• Experience with magnesium sulfate, heparin, and insulin drips preferred
• Willingness to float to Antepartum, Postpartum, and occasionally to sister facilities for Mother/Baby care
• First-time travelers accepted; previous charge experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
