Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Mission Hills, CA 91345

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Mission Hills, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Patient ratio 1:2. Floating between like units required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• 377-bed acute care Magnet-designated facility with 15 Labor and Delivery beds
• Experience with approximately 200+ deliveries per month preferred
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
• Free parking provided for all staff
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• 40 hours of orientation provided with 24 hours of unit-specific training

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, and LA Fire Card (within last 30 days)
• Experience circulating for cesarean sections in the operating room
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience at facilities performing minimum 200 deliveries per month preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates with experience exclusively in teaching facilities may not be preferred
