Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-week travel nurse contract in Ontario, Oregon (97914). Seeking experienced L&D RNs with BLS to deliver exceptional obstetrics, maternal-newborn, and fetal monitoring care on 12-hour night shifts.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100

Job Requirements
- Active RN license (Labor & Delivery specialty required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (OB nursing, maternal-newborn care)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Compliance with onboarding requirements (background check, health screenings, competency testing)
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Continuous fetal monitoring and interpretation of fetal heart tracings (electronic fetal monitoring/EFM)
- Monitor patient vitals, maternal assessment, and newborn transition
- Assist with deliveries and support physicians and midwives during labor and birth
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and follow physician orders as needed
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health
- Maintain accurate documentation, charting, and uphold patient confidentiality and safety standards
