• Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 20, 2026
• Weekend Coverage: Required; approximately 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Charting System: Cerner experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
• Experience with fetal monitoring, maternal assessment, and obstetric emergencies
• Ability to work night shifts and support weekend coverage
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Comfort working in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit with mixed patient populations, including neonates and adults

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and triage settings
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, high-risk deliveries, and obstetric procedures
• Perform assessments, interventions, and patient education throughout the perinatal continuum
• Support newborn care, including APGAR scoring, thermoregulation, and immediate post-delivery assessment
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments as indicated
• Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, efficient, and patient-centered outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a coordinated team environment
