Job Details Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor & Delivery RN Location: Portland, Oregon 97213 Start Date: 10/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Shift Pattern: Day shifts primarily; schedule may vary with mid-shift coverage based on unit needs Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,380 Charting System: Epic Orientation: 36 hours Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; flexibility to float as needed Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Experience with high-risk OB, postpartum, and antepartum care strongly preferred Current BLS certification required NRP certification required AWHONN Intermediate required Epic charting experience required Ability to work in a fast-paced women’s services environment Willingness to float between Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, and Antepartum based on unit needs Reliable transportation required for the assignment Responsibilities Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to laboring mothers and newborns Monitor fetal status and respond to changes in patient condition with sound clinical judgment Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, recovery care, and high-risk deliveries Support postpartum and antepartum patients as needed Perform couplet care, newborn assessments, and thermoregulation support Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with unit protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient patient care Document accurately and thoroughly in Epic Adapt to changing patient acuity and unit needs while maintaining a high standard of care Apply now to join this Travel Labor & Delivery RN assignment in Portland, Oregon, and make a meaningful impact in a collaborative healthcare team.
