Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring active L&D experience and AHA-certified credentials including NRP Advanced Provider or Instructor.

- Hospital Labor & Delivery unit setting
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OK RN license or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) required
- Minimum of 1 year of L&D nursing experience required
- Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred
- At least 2 years of travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting preferred
- Proficiency in nursing theory, techniques, and procedures with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to assess and respond to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- Previous travelers who have completed a contract at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply again
- Compliance requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical documentation) must be initiated immediately upon offer acceptance — the facility strictly enforces compliance deadlines and will not negotiate start dates
