Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for high and low-risk laboring patients, including those requiring magnesium and insulin drips
• Circulate during cesarean and vaginal deliveries in the OR and perform post-birth care
• Administer and manage epidurals and PCA pumps during labor and delivery
• Perform patient education and discharge instructions for new parents
• Float between High Risk and Labor & Delivery units as needed
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Current NC or Compact RN license in hand
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Not accepting first-time travelers
• Able to work every other weekend and provide open scheduling availability
