Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, L&D to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Assist with labor and delivery, ensuring best practices for mother and newborn care.
• Perform patient assessments, monitoring vital signs and fetal heart rates.
• Collaborate with healthcare team professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage postpartum care and provide discharge education to parents.
• Float between high-risk and L&D units as needed, maintaining quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Active NC or Compact nursing license in hand.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work every other weekend with open availability for scheduling.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred; travel experience required.
