Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal heart rates and assess high-risk pregnancies.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries and circulate during C-sections.
• Administer and monitor labor and delivery patients, including postpartum support as needed.
• Perform newborn care and participate in delivery roles as required.
• Float to postpartum units as necessary to cover staffing needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery required.
• Current state RN licensure, compact license preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, BLS, NRP, FHM (AHA Certified for ACLS/BCLS).
• Previous experience with community hospital settings and Epic charting.
• Ability to float between like units such as postpartum as needed.
• Weekend availability: every other weekend required.
