Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring recent L&D or OR circulator experience and telemetry interpretation skills.
Details
- Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit
- 12-hour AM day shifts, 7a-7:30p, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Must be able to circulate and scrub in the OR
- Primary newborn RN experience for transition from delivery preferred
- Charge experience preferred
- High-risk obstetrics experience preferred
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Minimum 2 recent years of L&D RN experience or OR circulator experience required
- CNM experience will not be considered
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course required, AWHONN preferred
- Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation course preferred
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
- Must pass telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in a busy Labor and Delivery unit, including circulating and scrubbing in the OR when needed
- Support newborn transition care following delivery
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted
- Holiday coverage required on a rotating every-other-holiday basis
