Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Santa Monica, California.
Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns in a busy acute care setting. The RN will manage high-risk pregnancies, labor and delivery, fetal heart monitoring, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and antepartum care, while collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes. Candidates should be comfortable floating to Postpartum as needed and providing couplet care when required. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in managing complex obstetric patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- AWHONN Advanced or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
- ACLS, BLS (AHA), NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certifications required
- Experience with fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancies, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and antepartum care
- Previous travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Willingness to float to Postpartum as needed
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
-L&D Travel assignment. -Traveller preferred.
