RN – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum | Travel Contract

Setting: Acute Care – L&D / Postpartum / Mother-Baby (LDRP)
Shift: 12-Hour Days | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Experience: 2+ years required
BSN: Required
Charting: Epic

Requirements

• 2+ years of L&D experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP & STABLE required
• Active license required at submission
• LDR experience required
• Experience circulating C-section OR
• Ability to float to Antepartum and nearby facilities as needed
• First-to-float requirement

Clinical Skills

• High-risk OB/L&D care
• Pre-eclampsia, placenta previa, twins & diabetic patients
• Pitocin and insulin titration
• Fetal monitoring
• LDR care
• C-section OR circulation
• NRP initial resuscitation until NICU arrival

Unit Details

• 16 L&D beds
• 13-bed high-risk Antepartum unit
• 3 C-section OR suites
• 8 triage beds
• 32 Mother-Baby beds
• Approximately 320–400 deliveries/month
• OB Laborist, Neonatology & Anesthesia available 24/7
• CSTs available every shift
• EFM: Centricity Perinatal – GE
• Scrubs provided

Schedule & Other Details

• Weekend requirements based on unit needs
• Occasional holiday coverage may be required
• No call/standby
• Floating to Meridian & Nampa hospitals may be required
• 1 orientation shift in each area: L&D, Antepartum & L&D OR
• Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract
