• Setting: Acute care Labor & Delivery unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 24, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Charting System: EPIC electronic medical records
• Medication/Monitoring Systems: Pyxis medication management, Hospira IV pumps, GE Corometric fetal monitoring
• Orientation: 8 hours of mandatory orientation
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,430 - $2,550

Job Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse experience
• Experience with cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretation
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Ability to support both obstetric and newborn care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Must be comfortable with a night-shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care for laboring, pre-term, and post-partum patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
• Perform cervical assessments and interpret fetal monitoring data
• Document accurately in EPIC and support safe medication administration
• Collaborate with physicians, obstetric providers, and the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Deliver attentive support to newborns and families during the birth process
