Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns.
• Circulate during C-section procedures and assist in complex deliveries.
• Administer medications, including magnesium sulfate and oxytocin, safely.
• Float to other units within UCSF facilities as required.
• Utilize Epic charting system effectively for patient documentation.
• Facilitate discharge teaching and post-operative care for new mothers.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license and BSN degree required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Proficiency in AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced practices.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Proficient in using External and Internal Fetal Monitoring.
